Purpose:
To proclaim the word of God at weekend Masses and other liturgies.

Activities:

• Study and prepare the readings during the week.
• Arrive at church at least 15 minutes early to read over commentary.
• Welcome visitors and make announcements.
• Proclaim the Word in First and Second Readings.
• Lead the Prayers of the Faithful.

Membership:
By invitation, or by volunteering to the Pastor or Worship Commission.

Meetings:
Lectors are alaways invited to Worship meetings. Other training workshops or days of reflection are held during the year.
