Purpose:
To minister to the members of our parish by the distribution of the Holy
Eucharist either during Mass or by making calls at nursing homes and to
the homes of shut-ins.
Activities:
- Distribute the Holy Eucharist to the faithful during mass.
- Visit the sick and shut-ins and bring them Holy Eucharist.
- Develop a deeper personal devotion to the Eucharist.
- Lead the congregation by example with a reverent attitude towards the Eucharist.
- Clean the chalices and patens after Communion.
Membership:
Practicing Catholic; fervent and faith-filled desire to be minister of
the Holy Eucharist; approval of the Pastor. Currently 60 members.
Meetings:
Meetings and workshops are held throught the
year as needed.
