R.C.I.A. Adapted for Children

Contact Person:
Lorretta Budzyn

Purpose:
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) adapted for children is the same process geared towards children age 6 years and up. It is a process by which those seeking Baptism in the Catholic tradition, Confirmation, and Eucharist; those from other religious traditions and non-Christians who want to learn more about the Catholic faith; those baptized Catholic as infants and are seeking first Eucharist or Confirmation; and those wishing to refresh their knowledge about their Catholic faith are invited and welcome to attend scheduled sessions.

RCIA adapted for children is designed to welcome new members into the church and, at the same time, this process seeks to lead every Catholic parishioner to deeper belief and a renewal of his or her faith.

RCIA adapted for children provides a time to gather and to study doctrine and theology of the Catholic faith, a time to share lived experiences and to see how God has been a part of your life and a time to experience prayer and Scripture

Membership:
RCIA adapted for children is the same process geared towards children age 6 years and up. This program is a supplement to the regular Faith Formation classes that meet regularly through the school year.
