What
is a Youth Night?
We gather
on Wednesday nights for a couple of hours with our friends and
play games, listen to what God has to say to us, try to understand
what it means to be a Catholic and what is required of us, ask
questions and look for answers to those questions, have time
for prayer and petitions, and (last but not least) usually have
a snack and something to drink while we spend time getting to
know each other. (There is usually some sort of Foosball competition
also.)
What
can I do, you ask?
It would
be a big help if we could get a couple of people to help bring
a snack and/or drink to share with the group. As you may know,
we are run entirely off weekly offerings at Mass and the requested
program fee of $45.00 per family, so we really don't have the
excess funds to provide the snacks that we would all like to
have each week at the end of the night. Your help is greatly
appreciated.
Let me know
if you think that you would be able to help us out. You could
simply tell me sometime when you see me, call me in the Youth
Ministry Office @ 265-8938 or email me: youth@stjosephadrian.com
Thanks for
all you do and I look forward to hanging out with you in the
fall.
